When you are abused as a child, you grow up with a different understanding of how to socialize. How to express emotions, how you react to the way others treat you, and so on.
As a result of that, you are rejected, treated like shit, called 'non-NT', called autistic, etc.
So you get abused as a child, you grow up, and then get abused as an adult as a result of being abused as a child.
