But where I live there’s a instagram group that organizes house parties although they usually hold the events at a club/bar. Most of the people that go to these things go to the same 2-3 unis.

They’ll just put the address a couple days before and people will show up

You should do this man. Plenty of young people in NYC.

Try to stalk (or talk) to people who go to fordham, Columbia, nyu, Brooklyn college, etc. And ask them where the open parties are held. At some they prob don’t even ask for the ID ‘cause they know all the people who go are minors
