both are the same in the sense that it's a concept that gets bogged down by incessant discourse on whether it's all a genetic issue or a question of will–of how much it's all actionable or 'real'...
…when–in lots of cases–it's just a thing that people take on when they have no alternatives
it's 'bad', but that doesn't mean that it can't be the least bad (available) way of living
being alive in general means picking out elusive and deteriorating options
there's no gotcha moment or a universal answer to this, people are fat and lonely because it's just what they are on the fundamental level
you could run infinite hypotheticals with severe calorie deficits, looksmaxxing, running the numbers game etc–but that would imply a sort of change that is simply not in the cards for most–you can look at the stats and see quite clearly that most attempts at substantial weight loss end in failure and with virgins the deal is sealed past college age
every miserable person, no matter how laughable they are, deserves the dignity of the acceptance of their basic facts–debating people over what they are for the sake of debating is just a cheap insult that goes nowhere, it's normie sadism
