Being kind rarely has it's uses, but most can't live their life that way you have to be considered important as fuck to others for that to work

you gotta generally just be kind moderately but obv adapt to whatever others signal towards you

the people pleasing syndrome is real bad for people with no real sense of self that kills their backbone and extreme shyness/neurodivergency though

if that a common problem for you i would tell you to try this

be kind to people and nice to them to first
then ask for favours that take them to think logicaly and overcome their emotional attachemnt to something
