In my country being left-handed was extremely rare, and you would actually get bullied for this, I don't remember anyone being left-handed in junior, middle and high-school, my aunt was the only left-handed person I knew in real life. She became ambidextrous, because teachers simply couldn't allow her to write with her left hand, they found this to be outrageous.
