Being lonely is so brutal

Like actually I only got like 2-4 good friends in school, I may know more people as like acquaintances, but not to go out with them and it's just the point in school where this can't be "fixed" or established. Regarding those friends I feel like outside of school we kind of don't do a lot, and when there's a longer break we don't communicate and they kind of have their friends who live close to them to chill with. I feel like this is not even about being ND cus I'm likely not, but more about luck or events from the past. Will this like not fix or do I have to try like best to find "new" friends which is like hella hard.
Most days my phone has zero notifications and 80% of the time I chill alone...
