Being low iq is better than being high iq

Show studies that proves what you are saying. You are coping, most studies shows that the higher the iq is correlated with less depression. They have more mental capacity to handle things and that is the truth
Not in extremely high iq groups (150+), they are more likely to be depressed

That’s huge assumptions, can you provide me some proof for your claims?
yeah with enough browsing your search history I'm sure I'll find you're the type of nigga to watch these types of videos

Yall can cope all you want, but this is the truth.
You didn't even read what you state as your basis, the research says that the study found no evidence that intelligence protects against depression in people with high neuroticism, but it did suggest that higher intelligence may reduce the negative impact of neuroticism on psychological distress. In other words, it was not shown that people with a "high IQ" are more depressed, but rather that people with a high IQ are more likely to use psychological services to deal with mental distress.

In fact, researchers question this relationship, saying that it is very likely that people with high IQs are labeled depressive simply because they see a psychologist much more often on average than dumb people. This being the place where psychologists diagnose them as such.

They just end up in manual labor or prison

Just thinking about this, high IQ is unfathomably better. Upper class lifestyle is only available to someone who's high IQ

My guy, are you being retarded on purpose? My original point was always that being higher iq increases the rates of being depressed and reporting lower life satisfaction than being lower iq, and that study that I sent confirmed my point. So I am sending you a different study that confirms my point, the same point but different study:

IMG 2139

My point stands. Being high iq means having less life satisfaction and less happiness than being low iq. And being high iq means higher chances of developing mental illnesses, anxiety, and depression. And every study I’ve sent confirms my points. I don’t think we need studies for those tho, I think this is just common sense.

Nope, it all depends on your circumstances. A lot of lower iq people tend to take more risks which may make them successful in life despite being low iq, Vast overwhelming of tiktok influencers or streams have very low iq but make millions. It depends on your circumstances and also mostly your risk taking ability.

Most high iq people also waste their potential & rot online, I don’t think this is as simple as youre making it to be. You are viewing this in a very simple minded way

Where do these claims come from? :ROFLMAO:

You've watched a few IQ videos on YT, read a few Reddit/Quora posts, and skimmed through studies, which is why you say this (At least that's what it seems).
You are viewing this in a very simple minded way
 You say this as you're not bounding a majority of people in varying IQ ranges to certain traits, lives, and careers w/o any concrete evidence for such.

My guy, Ive provided sources for my claims in the last hour and youre making baseless assumptions without proof. I send studies for my claims. Also no, Im not grouping a majority of people in a single trait, life, and careers, I am simply replying to your low iq workers claim by saying High iq people also waste their potential and end up rotting or doing nothing, and my point was that it depends on circumstances for both low iq and high iq people. Also, you don’t have any proof for your claims of low iq people.

Your sources: Screenshotting google quick answer panels and linking them w/o reading. I could do the same

My dude, I sent links for my studies, Not just screenshots. I get that you’re trying to flip this as to appear as I didn’t provide actual studies and proof, But you’re failing miserably. Anyone can read this thread and see that I sent multiple sources, studies and links,You’re just embrassing yourself, and Im sending them again, just because you prefer to cherry pick.

Using another text to prove another study, I say that the study found no correlation between depression and intelligence, and in fact found that more intelligent people were less likely to be neurotic.

In fact, in the other study you are supposedly using to justify your point, it was found that only 35.2 percent of people with a high iq were depressed, as you can see from the picture, it is very unlikely that you will suffer from any illness because you have a high iq.

1735000971160

On the other hand, the p-value, which I will take this opportunity to explain to you because it seems that you do not know how to read linear regression tables, shows a very low p, so the correlation between intelligence and mental illness is not very significant. In short, it is very unreliable to establish the relationship. in fact, the investigators raise this difficulty, lol.

Lmao I give up, you can believe whatever myths you want man

I just pray you READ your sources and their analyses (p-values for example) & study evaluations. If you did, this thread wouldn't have been made.

Won't be surprised if your next thread is talking about how it's better to be poor because "most" rich people are still sad despite their wealth and financial liberation :lul:.
