Being ND is like having a 100ft tall barrier placed in front of everything you want

Literally every aspect of your life. Careers, relationships, hobbies, leisure. If you’re nd it’s like 99% of these things are locked out of reach. The only way I’m going to have any sort of success in life is if I can fake NT (unsustainable and exhausting), or become good looking enough to make up for my brain. NDs drop thoughts or experiences below

In secondary school [middle + high] I noticed something
It really did not matter how ugly you are, even if you were death tier ugly, you didn't get bullied and still had friends. the only outcasts and bully victims were the ND kids, and it measured on how ND they were.
Teachers on the other hand, it didn't matter how ND they were, whether or not the kids liked/respected them/saw them as cool depended on how they looked.

The most liked teacher was ofcourse a 6'2 white who's face was just above the level of that aussie youtuber friendlyjordies

I’ll also add IQ is meaningless without Neurotypicality and Resolve, in fact without those 2 things it actually works against you, honestly there’s really nothing as brutal in the first world as being ND

I agree, every aspect of my life is torture because I’m ND. Never had friends in school. Always mess up any social interaction no matter how simple it is. I can’t even fake NT at ALL. So over brah

I agree with this too I feel like me being way smarter than everyone else makes it even harder to relate with them or be friends with them especially on top of my NDness

Man you get it. Being truly nd is like you fuck up everything you try because you simply aren’t wired to understand it. Like trying to speak a language you don’t know. It really hits for me rn because I’m thinking about my future and what I’m going to do in my life, and I’m really blocked off from what I actually want to do just because I was born with the wrong neurochemistry

I’m starting to understand why all my male family members tend to be wasted potential or fuck ups career wise

I would agree, I mean I’ve never had a ND teacher Jfl but plenty of sub5 kids have fulfilling social lives. The problem for me was I was genuinely one of the ugliest kids in my entire school (big school too) ON TOP of being nd so it really never began in general. I do think that looksmaxxing is the best path for people like me in adulthood tbh or maybe I’m just coping who knows
