95% of Racism is literally handicapping yourself for no reason.
Scenario 1: I'm not racist, some guy is a specific race, i become friends with him.
Scenario 2: I am racist, some guy is a specific race, i avoid being friends with him,
WHAT DO I GAIN? I have just lost a friend for no reason.
"But, if you are racist, you will understand that races need to stay away from each other, Africa for Africans, Europe for Europeans, Asia for Asians, etc"
NOBODY IN THIS FORUM HAS THE POWER TO MOVE ANYONE let alone move someone to the extent he goes back to his country of origin. MAYBE if you were a prime minister or a member of parliament I'd so okay sure but you're just a guy, just another guy on the street.
Does this specific type of racism even make up for 5%? I only said 95% so you guys comprehend how little it is, it's more like 99.99999%
"Picture this, you're walking the street at night, 3 am, a black person is walking towards you in a hoodie, wyd?"
I'd move away because of the things I've seen in the media and news. If I keep hearing that a certain type of dog keeps biting people, in every movie, in every piece of pop culture, in the media and entertainment, this dog just keeps biting people, when i see it in real life, am I REALLY discriminating against it for avoiding it?
If you actually go through your life in your day to day being racist, I genuinely believe you are handicapping yourself. It just sounds so exhausting.
"when I was 15, other people were, you know, smoking weed and talking to girls and uh you know, playing video games. And I thought that there was an eternal battle between light and darkness and that there was a small group of people that wanted to exterminate me." - quote from a youtube video i watched of a guy explaining how he stopped being racist to jews that i found interesting
