being good looking and having a 98th percentile iq is a lot more useful as you would have a genetic safety net that will always make you money given sufficient time and effort.

in comparison the low iq nitwit has an incapacity for delayed gratification and has an impeded capacity to problem solve. this means he will likely not plan long term investments, caves into familial/relational financial demands and is likely a hedonist. even if he did have a financial plan, the fact that he is average iq means he will likely only receive average returns at best, leaving inflation to whittle down his wealth.
it is not surprising that over 50% of lottery winners lose their wealth within 5 years.
