For example

Ltn gets insulted and then his mind immediately goes back to every experience he’s had being insulted and so he starts crying thinking about how his life reflects it

Chad gets insulted and he can’t even remember the last time an insult affected him because of how good his life is so it runs off his back like water

Yet society will tell you the first guy just needs to stop being a sensitive pussy and the second guy is a good person for being so secure in himself

When in reality there was no choice or responsibility or virtue in any of these reactions, simply effects of external causes that were guaranteed by the universe to occur

Also, weirdly enough, I find that ugly people, maybe I'm just fucking autistic and ugly for talking and sympathizing these people, but I think that ugly people tend to have more developed personalities. Or, I guess, asocial people, which usually include the socially literate ugly people and autistic people(who are usually ugly). This is because they try to avoid all this negative feedback from society and so they have to rely more on who they are rather than others for stimulation, which would confirm your belief. However, this means that negative reinforcement and gradual "personality" erosion from society actually tends to strengthen one's personality as they are forced into isolation and hard times. Also, they may just develop fake personalities in order to jestermaxx or to seem of higher value than their looks or status would suggest, basically ugly people cope with their personalities.

Something as difficult on the human psyche as loneliness and isolation definitely will lead to more complexity and development in someone who perceives the weight of it and the struggle
