Before someone with a Norman reedus avi named anal succubus says water or dnr hear me out.Today I was walking around the mall feeling like a piece of shit when I saw a mhtn nt kid ( the type of guy who plays football has a burst fade and wears essentials shorts) being comforted by 3 girls one being hhtb about some really dumb shit and that made me realise how disgusted girls are by sub5 or low ltns. Chad vents about how he stepped in shit 5 months ago and how traumatic it was for him, 20 foids offering to suck him off and give him a rim job. Sub5 is feeling like shit because his mom and dad died in a car accident? Well shit happens right? Who cares about him anyway. One time the overrated htn in my class scratched his toe and like 3 foids helped jumped and offered to help while flirting. But when my grandma who was my literal best friend and my only, died and I had to watch her strapped to those hospital machines, dying of cancer and crying because she couldn’t speak properly, I’ve had no one comfort me or at least even try to speak to me. I am also a pretty shit person who can never fit in so I guess that also doesn’t help. Sorry if I’m just venting for no reason and if it’s a low iq thread (it probably is) I just wanted to make a point

language is a convention it’s not naturally occurring niggas weren’t speaking English they would make grunts to indicate things. language shifts like old English > Middle English and modern. dog means a furry animal we’re familiar with in English but in Spanish it’s Perro that’s just shows it’s manmade. if it wasn’t it wouldn’t vary this much I could create a language now by saying aldona means; hi , calmite; means good morning and saying torval means ;how are you and boom. Aldona calmite torval once I get people to agree it’s considered a language .

Yes true I can agree on that it really comes down to what the person consideres a language. If you mean any system that links and refers to something in relation to the action being considered a language then under than blinking could be confirmed a language if you relate it to a thing vs if Believe a language to be something structured with grammar and rules with the ability to convey deeper meaning then that would disqualify grunting and NGL I kinda did that at the start with my “language” it’s not a set structure . In general I think an agreeable thing is to settle on is communication being natural but language being a human invention I had to think about that one a bit.
