Let me explain, when you are ugly somebody will probably bully you or tell you bad things about your looks and you will notice that you are ugly and you want to change for example i was fat and they were bullying me for that and now i am skinny, but when you are average you think there is nothing wrong with your looks nobody tells you nothing and you think you are great but then you do some cold approaches and they all fail you wonder why, maybe i should say something else maybe it was because of my clothes and then you finally realize it was all about looks. So basically it's just harder to notice you need to change when you are average.
