in 2006-2013, someone had to work really hard to become popular on platforms like youtube regardles of their looks level. the game was a lot fairer, because everyone was just lost in the sea of everyoness.

nowdays, with plaforms like tiktok, a good looking guy or gilr can imidiately reach explosive popularity without doing ANYTHING but showing their face.

due to cameras being HD and high quaity, people have no reason to capitalize on anything else but visuals noone cares about anything else.
