Benadryl has been fucking me up

I've been taking like 3-4 tabs to sleep but when I wake up I feel so groggy and so fucked up, I genuinely don't want to do anything at all and jsut lay down. I find that my dreams are much more beautiful than reality and wish I could never wake up. I've struggled with sleep since I was 15. I remember one time I went like 5 days where I was just tumbling around in bed and not sleeping. Whenever I went to the doctor they'd say it was the phone. Sleep probably made me like 3-5cm shorter than I should've been
