Benefits/disadvantages of meat eating vs the benefits/disadvantages of not meat eating

Pros of not eating meat: you get to leave this wretched plane of existence quicker than us.
Cons of not eating meat: you don't get to leave this wretched plane of existence quicker than us.

  • saturated fat mouth feel is like eating chocolate, but it is also nutritious! (melty chocolate sensation in mouth is property of saturated fat)
  • takes less time to prepare than non-meat alternatives; has natural flavours that just need salt
  • digests better than non-meat alternatives like legumes
  • low chance of unknown/slight intolerance/allergy like with other foods
  • takes soul energy out of animal, it might be good/bad for spiritual reasons
  • seems gross to eat dead animal flesh but you can condition yourself to accept it. if you wanted, you could eat humans/bugs/anything, disgust doesnt matter.
  • more expensive, will cost you hundred-thousands to million $ in lifetime expenses
  • can be moral or immoral because you can easily change morals, even intuitive preferences. Just decide to change it
  • non-meat eaters are hated and discriminated against
  • easier to eat out
  • ground beef is like a natural plant-based beef
  • dont have to supplement b12
  • not more likely to develop cancer/cvd if you can stay under dietary recommended saturated fat consumption. still important to restrict it for lower death chance
  • high co2 foods like BEEF might be banned in the future, will miss your chance to eat it!
  • meat can trigger positive mental feeling but I think its equal to straight up eating some neurotropic amino acid like taurine.
  • more likely to experiences FOOD BORUNE illness
  • natural human diet, important if you believe in nature theory. ascribing to nature theory might be positive for mental wellbeing
  • more likely to be in theoretical optimal range of some nutrients (THE RANGE IS UNKNOWN BUT IT IS THEROICALLY POSSIBLE, HARD TO PROVE

>Cost is projected assuming huge technological advances in the cell-culture medium. The wholesale cost of cell-cultured meat is optimistically projected to be as low as $63/kg.

lab-grown meat will be for the elite only. 63 dollars/kg jfl whos gonna pay that. That's more expensive than the highest quality grass-fed beef you can find rn.

lol the cost to make an iphone 14 in the 1970s would be trillions/infinite money. It will come down to maybe slightly more than current meat prices

No better food than high quality meat and eggs.

One of the primary benefits of eating meat is the nourishment it provides. Eating meat is one of the most efficient sources of protein, vitamins, minerals, and essential amino acids, all of which are essential for proper growth and development. Meat is a dietary staple for many people, and its absence can lead to nutritional deficiencies.

On the other hand, not eating meat can also have nutritional benefits. Plant-based diets are often rich in fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, all of which are important for overall health. Additionally, plant-based diets are often lower in calories, saturated fat, and cholesterol than a diet that includes meat, which can help reduce the risk for certain chronic diseases.

Furthermore, not eating meat can have environmental benefits compared to meat eating. Livestock production is a major contributor to climate change, water pollution, habitat destruction, and deforestation. Eating a plant-based diet can reduce an individual’s carbon footprint, conserve water, and protect wildlife habitat, no-one cares though fuck that

Ultimately, the decision to eat or not eat meat comes down to personal preference and beliefs. Evaluating the benefits and drawbacks of both can help individuals make an informed decision that best fits their lifestyle.
