She used to tell other students — “Make boyfriends… enjoy life.”
The accused student is from West Bengal; several complaints had been received.

A very shocking case has come to light in the girls’ hostel of Devi Ahilya University (DAVV). A first-year student has been accused of misleading her fellow students onto the wrong path and provoking them into immoral activities.
The matter came to light when five students submitted written complaints. During the investigation, more than 10 students gave statements against her.
The accused student allegedly told other girls that this is the time to enjoy life, make boyfriends, and if they did not have one, she would arrange one for them through apps.
After receiving the complaint, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Rakesh Singhai and Registrar Prajjwal Khare immediately formed an investigation committee.
The investigation found that the accused student not only spoke indecently, but also made video calls with boys in front of other girls and pressured them to do the same.
After the complaint, hostel management searched the student’s room and belongings, where some objectionable items were seized.
She allegedly used mobile apps to lure other girls.
The university administration is now considering legal action and possibly calling the parents.
Management said that there will be no compromise regarding the safety and discipline of students on campus.
Objectionable material was also recovered. As a result, the university expelled her from the hostel.
The management has encouraged frightened students to stay alert and report such incidents immediately.
About eight days earlier, hostel students informed the warden that one girl was mentally harassing them.
They said she was pressuring them through different dating apps to connect with unknown boys.
