I just realized this today and I feel stupid for not figuring it out before.

Native American (mongoloid) + European (caucasoid) = Mestizo
Most people native to Latin America (except Quebec) are Mestizo. They are commonly known as "latinx" which is more of a cultural term.

Who are the Bengalis?
Well, they're basically a mix of 3 distinct ethnicities.

yeah its not so much about "claiming" mestizo but the fact that ur pheno is still closest to it, outside of the americas. maybe pinoys too to a lesser extent.
