Vacuums - one of the most basic abdominal movements - just sucking your stomach in while doing a great job at strengthening the TA. Look up a beginners routine to it. Also get a strong base with vacuums and crunches, from there move on to full sit-ups planks leg raises etc

Btw it is vital that you maintain flexibility in your hip flexors and abs with the cobra stretch, deep knee bends, etc.

Idk I only do ab crunches machine thats enough for me
