Best amount of sets for gains

how many sets to get the most amount of growth?


cuz I've seen some jacked dudes do only 3 sets but really heavy and high reps and that's it basically

Around 10-20 sets per week for each muscle group, I like to split this in into 3 sets for 2 or 3 exercises for each muscle group, trained twice a week. Don’t over think it too much tho, just pick exercises you like and train hard and you’ll grow.

It all needs to be done to failure. I think for most, past 4 sets of failure the extra fatigue and recovery time is not worth for the almost negligible extra “gains” you’ll get.

I do every set till I fail but I was going up to 6-7 reps which Ig isn’t ideal.

Jfl I always see gigajacked dudes at my gym doing heavy sets of 3 till failure 6 to 7 sets is overkill ig

fuck calves, they look so terrible when they are inflated, plus only manlets have big calves because they have short lower leg bones
