best approach to athletic physique

I used to be extremely fit and have a nice physique when i first started gym because of the initial stimulus to the muscle; the newbie gains came in even though my diet was shit, and my workouts were inconsistent, i remained lean this whole time because i am naturally a lean person


Fast forward now, i don’t go gym because of studying, i eat even worse so now i’ve lost all my muscle and i’m not as lean as i used to be

I’m not sure whether I should bulk up at this stage since i’m already quite skinny or should i cut down, get lean again but eat at proper maintenance with high protein to gain my muscle back?
 
get lean, stay lean, and build muscle on PEDs

ofc never that, my arms have always been long and skinny tho, im naturally a lanky guy tall and skinny but i really want the athletic lean build with muscular arms, hope to achieve that by going on a slight deficit whilst eating high protein tho

If you want to make long term improvements start eating better until you start going to the gym again.

i am going to start eating better to restore gut health and whatnot but i will also aim to increase my protein intake as well, i’ll also be training again, although they will be minimalist due to me being at university at the same time

Don't take peds, for a good physique go the natty route. Looks better anyway.

Do a sport , preferably a martial art, and do workouts on the side that are meant to make you better at the sport. For example, you can do adult wrestling or kickboxing , and lift good 3-4 time a week for explosive power. Hit the compounds too, and eventually you will have a slick natty phsyique, one that looks like you are athletic , not a physique where you look like a gymrat

Lol you can get newbie gains always its called muscle fiber tear doms and they grow its hyperplasia real muscles now think ans figure out how get again
