Best braces for overbite

I have an overbite and my teeth are a bit messed up, I've been reading threads saying damon braces are the best and you should opt for nothing else, however does this truly matter that much? If my orthodontist tries to get me on traditional braces or invisalign is it really worth it to demand damon? I'm willing to pay whatever price, just want the best results possible even if it doesn't make a massive difference
