I really fucking hate my overbite, and I wanted to know if braces will fix it. I really am disgusted in the way my jaw and face is while I bite. I fucking hate ta. Also, will Damon braces help better?

Yes, damon braces are more effective as it uses a self-ligating bracket system instead of just the elastic or metal ties used in traditional braces.
  • This allows gentler, more continous forces
  • shorter treatment time
  • improved comfort

Damon braces are worth it. I actually made the mistake of getting traditional ones for a month but had them switched out to damon today after finding out that damon is much more effective. Make sure to not get any extractions no matter what, as your orthodontist might try a camoflauge treatment ( shifting maxilia backwards to align with mandible ) mine was gonna do the same but I denied it. Look to get a herbst appliance or ask your ortho whats the best for your case to shift the mandible forward.
