Answer: 0,5 mm is the least painful and does not need any recovery time as it only pierces the outer layer and still works fine. 1mm is optimal as it reaches the inner layer fully and is not very painful. The inner layer of skin os where you want the peptide to reach, farther is unnecessary.

Depending on skin do a 1mm patch test and if it causes inflammation and burning lower to 0.5
