Best drugs for socialmaxxing? Advice on SSRIS? (Please help out if you got some knowledge on this)

Whats y’all’s opinion/expirience on alc or other drugs while on SSRIS, specifically lexapro? Best drugs for socialmaxxing (especially for ND)?




Hopping on lexapro for a lot of things and alcohol is usually my go to but it’s advised against while on it. Also just quit smoking after 4 years and being able to drink on the weekends only thing keeping me from relapsing. I already got the prescription but am questioning my decision (havent started it yet).

find a passion or something to live for i tried to kms before and it nothing for me besides make me hate myself more and embarrassed. good luck hopefully everything turns out good.

i was on lexapro and zoloft dont remember exact mg. it would take me 40+ mins to bust the worst nut ever

I was on sertraline (Zoloft).

First I started with half a pill for two weeks and then a whole pill. I quit after a few weeks because of the sexual side effects and also insomnia.

Then a different doctor started me on it again and I went into a crisis and a doctor in the ER told me to take a pill and a half. I literally went crazy and ended in the hospital.

Many months after that they gave me Citalopram because I wasn't feeling too well and it worked for two weeks. Shit was like a sponge absorbing negative thoughts out of me. But when I doubled the dose as prescribed I went into a deep depression.

Honestly try and change your enviroment honestly there is no magic pill to cure ur problems. Find your problems and try to just solve them. And dont take life to seriously

i take zoloft 50mg mostly for my anxiety but kinda for depression too, and drink heavily on it (around 2L+ of vodka a week usually lol) and it makes me a lot more social, u could try pregab but has more addiction potential and shouldn’t be used more than just for going out. it’s okay to drink on but you’ll get more drunk faster, also be prepared for the first 4 weeks of ssris to make you wanna kill yourself

Try to always just stay distracted and busy that way you dont think so much and also stay away from drugs it will just get you worse. Wish you the best

It was aight. Some good benefits and some side effects too. Wasn’t on it for too long and only took 10-20 mg, which is quite low
