best expander for face widening?

i want to widen my face, mainly my upper and lower jaw. im still developing and im wondering if MSE would be the best option for widening my jaws

no expander will widen your lower jaw. Mse only widens upper and is terrible for aesthetics.

ive heard FME is good at widening the jaw and has a good result aesthetically; and wouldn't expanding the upper jaw inherently push the lower more to the sides as they're connected?

No, they are not all connected. If you widen the upper jaw the lower jaw WILL NOT follow. You either have to undergo IMDO or BIMAX

And actually, the amount you can expand with mse/expanders is limited to how big your jaw is to begin with. you can only put your lower maxilla outward too far before problems occur (running into the mandible)

Is wide bottom a good thing. I have a round head because of fat but when I take a pic it’s pretty decently wide in the bottom

width is good but its fairly dependent on your face length. too wide usually looks bad on faces with no angularity, whereas narrower faces can look better with a softer jawline. imo wide is only good when theres certain angularity to the jaw

i have a average sized jaw however it is slightly recessed. im not narrow but i have a tall skull due to my forehead literally fucking up my thirds so its just confusing because i could use the width to have an equivalent width to height ratio.

I have high cheekbones and wide bottom because of genetics so that’s good to know than because I have a massive skull
