i love ozil as an arsenal fan but im sorry no way not even remotely close hes one of the best playmakers and creators but hes far too inconsistent and has had way to many low seasons

and salah hit the ground running later in the decade but i dont see him on par with wingers like neymar or gareth bale still

even as a left back at tottenham he wasnt at his prime and was never the best at that position in the league

(ashley cole was always the best left back in the premier league in his prime)

He was playing in a terrible team when he was left back. Cole was playing in a Mourinho Chelsea team. Can't compare.
He moved to left wing and the team improved as a whole and the rest is history.
I wouldn't have a team without him in, 2 goals in a cl final one being the best ever.
His performance against inter in 2010 was one of the best ever individual performances in the cl.
