Best GABAergic drugs for anxiolysis?

What are the best anxiolytic sustainable drugs that won’t cause addiction? I believe that GABAergic drugs are the best for anxiety as opposed to drugs like pregabalin which inhibit glutamate. Also, the drug should be easy to source. Certain benzos are very difficult to get for obvious reasons.

I have personally found that clobazam is effective but this is a benzo that downregulates GABA-A rapidly and causes addiction.

If anyone has any experience with other gaba drugs like baclofen or phenibut then let me know. Also state the ideal doses based on your experiences and which side effects, if any, you experienced.

They will all cause addiction/tolerance to some extent. The only trick is to take them infrequently and not be overzealous with dose.

any pharmaceutical that interacts with gaba receptors can cause dependence and addiction. At the end of the day, its a chemical loan. Benzo withdrawal is the most brutal thing one can endure. Worse than severe opiod withdrawal IMO.
