don't chew gum it's bad. too much chewing can cause jaw problems and almost all sugar-free gum contain artificial sweeteners.

"Constant gum chewing puts excessive force on your temporomandibular joints, muscles and teeth, which leads to overstress, imbalance and misalignment. This can cause: Clicking or popping in one or both temporomandibular joints."

"recent studies show that chewing excessive amounts of sugarfree gum can lead to severe diarrhea and weight loss. The problem is sorbitol, a type of artificial sweetener used in many sugarfree gums and candies. In larger quantities, sorbitol actually acts as a laxative."

do you know even know the existance of artificial sweeteners? almost all sugar-free gums contain them. sugar-free gums are better than normal gums but that doesn't make them 100% healthy and doesn't mean you should chew on them 24/7. a few chews a day won't cause any harm.

gum doesn't make your jaw 'better'. if you have any sources to back up that claim please do.

chewing a lot on very hard foods can make your jaw stronger, but it won't change the shape of your jaw. the shape of the jaw is determined by genetics.

you should also consider the risks of chewing too much like getting temporomandibular disorder.
