I’m looking for a hair product that emulates the same effect as accutane.

When I’m on accutane my hair mogs but when I’m off I’m forced to use shampoo and it gets frizzy and loses all texture

I’d recommend just shampoo once every 2 Months or so and just conditioner every week

Doesn’t accutane thin and dry out your hair?
It blocks sebum production, hence gives you a way more textured hair without drying it out too much. So you basically don’t even need to wash it often.

It does thin and dry it, that’s why it’s not the solution in the long term.

No shampoo it’s not a good option to me, not when I’m off accutane. And even if I did it it’s not what I’m looking for

Ah okay. So you’re looking for something that gives your hair texture without drying it out too much like texture powder does I’m assuming

Exactly. Leave in kinda does it but it somehow looks better on shampoo days

Yeah I was going to recommend leave in conditioner for moisture, that’s what personally works for me. As for styling your hair, you can ask your barber to add texture it while you’re getting a haircut, this alone probably won’t be enough(it isn’t for me) but it helps. After that I use a little bit of hair clay (root and muddle is nice, it’s not dehydrating and isn’t super heavy) and just mess around with it until I think it looks good
