Best hair products for a middle part?1?1? (URGENT)

I have straight hair.

Not pin straight hair, just straught with a slight wave to it. I have good density with a good hairline.

College environment/lifestyle, so nothing super proper (avoid pomades?)

My hair naturally lays at eyebrow length (not pulled)

I want to accentuate waviness and the flow. I already know about sea salt spray but i need some sort of styling product that will have a bit more hold throughout the day

Oh, i also dont have layers since i grew this out from a crew cut. Worth getting layers now or later?

Volumising mousse on towel-dried hair and then I blow dry after parting. Run hand down the middle part from front to back as you blow dry and shake hair every now and then as you do it.

My hair pretty much always looks good this way. Before it used to be straight and boring.
