Personally my favorite are Mousse, styling cream and sometimes texturizing powder.

From my curtain point of view it’s powder to get the lift at the front, sea salt to get it to wave and hair spray in vast quantities to prevent it from just blowing away.
You can’t out-product a bad heat styling job though and that’s the tricky part. I’m getting really tired of this cut but then I push my hair back at the sides and remember my ESR problems …
