The problem with leather jackets for me is that new, high quality ones cost 1k+ oftentimes. And used / vintage ones can be a gamble. I have no experience buying used clothes online and don't even know my proper measurements @valentinehe's the expert, listen to him i dont know for sure.
i would suggest a more classic boxy fitting one if thats the look youre going for. with leather jackets how it fits matters a lot because it changes the mood of the outfit, though obviously what you pair it with is equally as important. look for style inspo on pinterest and copy their outfits, its usually really simple and their body/face is the outfit lolWhat are some good leather jacket brands? im assuming by saying it can be a gamble you mean its hard to estimate the sizing. you can measure a jacket you already own laid flat on the floor from armpit to armpit, from armpit to bottom and the overall length. then ask the seller to send you those. most of the time thats enough to know it will fit you well unless the silhouette is really uncommon like elongated sleeves etc.The problem with leather jackets for me is that new, high quality ones cost 1k+ oftentimes. Would you say the Aero Highwayman is boxy or not? Because it always looks so "tight" on people and makes their frames look even narrower.i would suggest a more classic boxy fitting one if thats the look youre going for. with leather jackets how it fits matters a lot because it changes the mood of the outfit, though obviously what you pair it with is equally as important. look for style inspo on pinterest and copy their outfits, its usually really simple and their body/face is the outfit lol
this kind of silhouette is quite common for leather jackets so it should be easy to find them for cheap on vinted or ebay, as long as its real leather the brand doesnt really matter imo unless youre a nerd about it. suede is great too i think its really interesting but requires more care

those dont look too tight no, but varies from picture to picture, if anything you can likely size up to be safe. still i would never buy items like that newWould you say the Aero Highwayman is boxy or not? Because it always looks so "tight" on people and makes their frames look even narrower.
If you could post a couple of jackets for inspiration, I'd appreciate that (something cool but normie friendly, doesn't need to be some crazy archive pieces).
I mean it's a gamble, because oftentimes you can't try it on and send it back if you don't like it. And if you spend a lot of money, I'd prefer to have something that I really like...
Get a J140 or J130, buy true to size cause they're oversize and it looks better, olive, dark brown and deep navy are the best colors imoWhich one of those Carhartt jackets do you think looks the best?
