Damn what’s shitty about judo
It's not shit for everyone but it was for me.

The competition is shit because it's always rigged somehow.

I've injured myself once and was on break for 4 months.

The techniques I've learned wasn't good enough.

Didn't want to tell you about the things that happened to me but only thing I wanna say that it's not useful in the real world. I would've done MMA but silly me haha

Try it a couple times to see if you enjoy it before you sign up though

Most gyms let you take a class or 2 without signing up if you pay like 5 bucks

Yeah I think the place he goes to has free classes, all I really do outside of school is the gym so might try it out

i never found the ground game appealing hence why i just chose striking

i plan on trying to go pro in actual boxing within 2 years since thats where the most money is

Muay Thai for striking. Judo and wrestling are great.

To be a good fighter you must be cross trained in both striking and grappling.

I’m gonna be 17 soon, quit football shit became torturous tbh. But I probably wouldn’t want to fight competitively, just have the skill in my arsenal for if I want/need to use it. Good luck tho bro

Yeah same, im 5’7. But I just genuinely hated it even tho I was alr, going to the gym myself is way more enjoyable, haven’t regretted quitting for a second

Boxing, actually spar & learn proper technique. You won't get shit out of martial arts if all you do is strike inanimate objects & practice choreography.
