Best medium straight hair hairstyle suggestions for narrow face

I am going to be growing out my hair. I have medium thickness high density hair that's pretty straight. I also have a pretty narrow face. My forehead isn't too oversized, so I can probably pull off hairstyles showing my forehead.

Now the questions remain: Should I grow out my sides along with the top, or just the top? And what hairstyle should I choose in either case?
