That was my first Misery Signals song too! The vocalist was touring with his former band and they got involved in a car crash, and both of his band mates died while he survived it. That's what the song is about. They played this live, too. They had two different vocalists under Misery Signals, the other one is on the song called Nothing. I personally like his unclean vocals the most but Jesse is a classic one too.
