My teeth are pretty fucked up and crooked. Had an Orthodontics Plate for my upper palate when I was 11 which didn't help. Parents didn't have the money to afford braces for me and I'm 19 now. Wondering what the best way to approach fixing them is for me, whether that be braces, Invisalign or any other procedures+methods.
I can afford to fix this myself now and would like to know the best way to go about it.
And can a palate expander be recommended to widen jaw even though I'm 19. ( Will obviously talk more with a specialist/dentist in person when I figure out what direction I want to go.)
Thanks :)

Braces

Palate expander will only increase your palate and make your smile wider, it won't have any significant aesthetic difference on your maxilla or jaw

It will cost like 2k at most I think depends where u from and if u have a certain case you might need elastics(grd1/2/3)

haha prolly like an 8 in terms of fucked. But maybe that's just mentally me not being confident with them. Other than crooked teeth I take good care of them, eat the right things, clean them regularly and have no cavities or gum disease etc. I just need to move forward with a permanent solution now.

my smile is ∞/10 on an ugliness scale so you're not finished yet

Options:

Regular braces
- cheapest
- pretty long treatment time
- worst aesthetically (especially since u are 19)

Damon braces
- will automatically symmetrically expand your maxilla
- fastest treatment time
- better results
- slightly more expensive than regular braces

Invisalign
- best aesthetically (mostly invisible haha)
- slowest option (can be slower if you dont wear your retainer)
- most expensive by far

Damon braces are best for after results
Regular braces are cheaper
Invisalign looks the best during treatment

If i was you i would probably pick damon braces

AND IF YOUR ORTHODONTIST WANTS TO REMOVE TEETH FIND A NEW ONE

please mark solution
