Other than braces what can they do and what do should I say? I’ve heard people talk about bimax but it seems very hard to get. What can I ask for that they will actually do
Depends what you want and what your situation is, just as for best case scenario, if your under 18, and since you live in UK, its free, but they probably wont have everything, example damon braces or ems pallate expander are private, so they might suggest only the free options, so do your own research or i can tell you depending on your situation what you may need to ask
Is it true braces recesse your jaw? Same with having adult teeth extracted
Not much, NHS are terrible unless you actually need it and even then its docter dependant. Just save money and go private its like 1k for a MARPE and 2.5k for braces

tbh idk i still have braces for about half a year and i do see myself getting an underbite, but thats cuz all my teeth are getting moved closer since im missing both lateral incors so k9s are being moved to front teeth but either way im pretty sure u get rubber bands that fix it, so after these im just going to get an EMS or SARPE or MARPE, Depending on what the private doctor suggests, and after that ill get damon braces to fix teeth after upper pallete is expanded, alla this just because i was born with a small mouth
nhs ortho will be quite retarded, if you really want it - get a job, try to explain to ur parents and find a good private ortho through consulations who works with airway orthodontics, then convince parents to help pay for it.
