Make sure to ask for the department of cryptocurrency and private transactions when you're on the phone. Every bank will have this (or they'll know what you mean if you say that).

I tried to open up a crypto wallet through my local credit union. They made me go in person to open a crypto wallet account with my parents though.

I assume you're Russian, I think most Russian banks have a department called the Financially Articulate Response Team.

How old are you though, cuz they may need you to go in person depending on your age. If you're under 16 you'll likely have to just go in person for a consultation.

Honestly they likely will if you call them on the phone. Go to your local Chase bank tomorrow walk in with one of your parents, and request to open up a "Bitcoin account." Then they will bring you into one of their consultation rooms and get you setup free of charge.

Yeah this will work with any major bank, local credit unions may have a different process and might charge a fee.
