best preventative measures to stop thinning/receding hair

I am 18 nearly 19 and my hairline is already starting to recede and the hair I have is slowly getting thinner. I have got all the necessary bloods taken to get put onto hair loss meds, but I don't know whether to ask for oral minoxidil, finasteride or dutasteride, ideally whatever that would give me the most benefits and fry my body the least. I have no trust in whatever my GP recommends as my local health practitioners are retards.

dutasteride is stronger so i would go for that. If you cant get it, finasteride is also good. Also get minoxidil on top of your desired dht blocker, to help grow back the hair that u lost.
