best reps/rest for gym

how much is optimal rest, reps and sets for gym

ive been doing 3 sets of 12,10, and 8 for a while and want to see if there is something better

until failure mogs - 2 sets - 3 will be good but hell

and rest 1 min 15 sec - 1 min 45 sec don't hit 2 mins rest ever

but do you do the same weight or start with a lighter one
i srart heavy if you can't do eight that's not your weight. if you can do 12 + go up

4-8 rep range
1 rep in reserve or failure

Hing intensity low volume with 3-5 minutes 1-2sets and 1-2 reps away from failure mogs but whatever you like if it works then keep going

do general consensus is 2 sets to faliure basically

It's good but to much if you're young
If i was teen again i would stop working out i would just lay, have fun and i would take HGH and good diet something like primal and a lot of fruits/good quality carbs
It's better

essentially yes , depending on split you can do 1 set and depending on exercise you wont go to failure

example you are running a fullbody split and perform 1 set of incline press, 1 set of fly, 1 set of flat press or pullover for your chest

and if you are having trouble recovering stay 1 rep away from failure especailly compound lifts obviously

Wtf 3 sets will just fry your mur. Also you need to rest 2 minutes plus either way you are not pushing hard enough
