I lost my retainers two months ago in a foreign country and now I need braces again, I'm sucking it up and getting impressions of my teeth now rather than just getting them again

get both permanent and clear retainer , if permanent breaks u have the clear , if the clear retainer doesnt do it's job (sometimes teeth still shift with the clear one) or u lose it or smthg u have the perma
