best retinoid for oil control?

I’m dealing with excess oil on my nose and want a retinoid to improve skin texture and help control oil. I was thinking of tretinoin, but I’ve heard it might not do much for oil reduction.

isotretinoin dont listen to anything else (in 99% of cases)
