Planning on getting a rhinoplasty but I want to know what the best surgeons are. Preferably in America but any countries that aren’t crazy far would be good. Also how well would implants work to hide mild to moderate recession(idk a lot about these things)

I would but that’s very expensive and long recovery time. I was only planning on doing rhino and if it didn’t do a lot then I’d do the implants or maybe a bimax

A nose job in the us is probably same price as bimax in a different country

Rohrich, guyuron, Nassif.

Typically the more giant the nose they have the better they are at rhinoplasty.

Nassif sucks. Rohrich and Guyuron were the best at one time but are too old now, especially Guyuron.

This is a list I saved from my initial research in the early 2010s :

Dr Andrew Frankel https://www.drandrewfrankel.com/
Dr Richard Davis http://www.davisrhinoplasty.com/
Dr Anil Shah https://www.shahfacialplastics.com/ The most affordable of the bunch. The youngest too.
Dr Ronald Gruber https://ronaldpgruber.com/
Dr Thomas T. Le https://www.bwfacialplasticsurgery.com/
Dr Rollin K. Daniel https://rollindanielmd.com/
Dr Bahman Guyuron https://drbahmanguyuron.com/

I found these names through patient testimonies on forums that were active at the time (e.g. makemeheal, missj, lookyourbestuk, etc.). Back then, Reddit wasn't a hotspot, and neither Instagram nor the ancestor of .org existed yet.

I have updated the websites' url. Funny detail : Guyuron didn't have a website, and he had to be called on the phone or emailed (on a personal gmail address) :lul:

I guess the majority of these surgeons may be too old now. Plastic surgeons are usually in their prime from approx. 50 yo to 65 yo ; corresponding to the time when they combine thorough experience ( = thousands of surgeries) with optimal dexterity.

You could probably draw up an up-to-date list through Instagram, Realself, Reddit, and a few other websites I'm not aware of.

I dont know tons about Nassif, but I know hes done a lot of complex reconstruction surgery's on the nose and that matters a lot. Rohrich is still doing 80's style rhinos which are technically far more difficult to achieve. Very few surgeons in the us are even doing them anymore.

They all have moved to a more bulky style since rhino disastfaction rate is high, since they are technically easier.

Why don't you provide some alternatives that are better.... instead of just claiming they suck

I honestly wish I knew. Guyuron would have been my choice. The new gen of US plastic surgeons are all social media slop merchants

Just find a good surgeon in turkey its much cheaper and the results are the same

You know there are very good surgeons in turkey you need to just do your research
What happens if your “very good” surgeon fucks up and they need to take you to the emergency room. Have you ever been to Istanbul? I have and outside the airport which is actually nice, it’s a giant shit hole.

The idea you’re going to get the same quality results such naïveté you obviously are either a Turk roach or have no real experience doing PS.

Ive been in istanbul many times its a very beautiful city im not saying all of the surgeon are good ofc not but there is some very good surgeons out there

Idk how you can consider such a dirty place beautiful. I stayed in the center of DT and the marriot had to have full body and luggage metal scanners. Like wtf. It’s a total shit hole.

Unironically, the vast majority of men who consider rhinoplasty do most likely need jaw surgery, not rhino. Was super convinced I needed rhino until I saw the morph from a respectable surgeon, and realized there was like literally no benefit, because my jaw was the problem.

Most men don't gain any major, transformative benefit unless it's an incredibly severe case, and most 'ugly' or 'big' noses are that way because they lack support from the maxilla or the jaw is recessed enough that it would make even a small nose look disproportionally big.

You guys have wired ideas about bimax.

You guys have wired ideas about bimax.

Because a ton of plastic surgery is usually cope, especially for men.

The only truly transformative procedures all have to do with movement of bone.

No one has ever ascended a league with just a rhino or genio unless they were truly and obviously deformed in that one area, which the vast majority are not. Recession is exponentially more common than that.

It’s true if you actually have recession it’s a massive ascenction but most people who talk about it don’t. It doesn’t seem very common despite claims otherwise.

Rhiinoplasty results can be quite dramatic and they do brake bone in this procedure routinely. The idea you will address meaningful bumps, nasal bone with or height, alar base with, tip defition, cartilage separation, or septum deviation with a bimax is just plan wrong. As is the idea that only alteration of bone produce dramatic effects in men.

At best you might get some additional projection/reversal of droopynes of your nose if you get bimax. Ultimately the cartilage is not magically going to get bigger or smaller or dramatically change shape from a bimax.

Most of you that think you need it won’t see much results from a bimax since your not recessed enough. Now if you are then sure it’s #1. But people like clavical talking about how he needs Leford 2 just isn’t based in reality and will produce little to no aesthetic gains.
