My parents and grandparents have saved a lot of money for me for when I am 18 years old. Now, they want to invest it in some german managed fond with a lot of running costs (1.5% per year) and a low return (4% per year). They say it’s because it’s „low risk“.

Can anyone recommend a better low risk managed or unmanaged fond that I can recommend to them to maximize my ROI?

if u have over 10million usd in your portfolio, only invest it index funds
if you have less, do daytrading or other income sources

well i don’t want to work actively with it, i’m going to uni soon and that’ll take up most of my time. But there has to be a better fond than what my parents want to invest in.

holy shit, sounds insane. The money from my parents has to be invested safely, but I also have some money from my grandparents that I can handle freely, maybe I can start with that (~10k€).
