best shoes for frauding height?

I've seen shit like Conzuri/TallMenShoes but the designs are so shit that I'm not sure the tradeoff is worth it. Would it not be better to get a deeper NB/Asics/any shoe that gives 1-1.5 solid inches, then add 2-2.5 inch insoles? I'm looking for 3/4 inches of height.

I currently have the NB 1906Rs, and I've tried putting insoles in, but I can only get 1 inch in before it gets too tall. If I put 2 inches in, my heel will slightly stick out. The heels of these shoes aren't very tall tho, so maybe I can get 2-2.5 inches in on shoes with taller heels. Any recs?
