His skin is only a little lighter than lightskin blacks and there is a difference between a lightskin black and a mulatto.
I actually forgot Arabs existed while making this. I think Sand pheno looks much better with light skin.

I think it has more to due with the lighting because his skin seems to stay the same color whenever I see him unless the lighting is making it look lighter. That 3/4 side profile pic of him he looked very light but in other pics of that same day his skin looked like how it usually does.
