Swimming engages all major muscle groups, boosts heart health, improves endurance, and is low-impact, making it easy on joints and safe from injuries.

High-skill required martial arts like Brazillian jiu-jitsu, real-life adapted Karate, etc. Not only do they make you an amazing fighter, but they develop a lot of discipline and mental strength due to the time and skill it takes. It's also EXTREMELY respectable, imagine telling a girl you're a black belt in karate, there's no doubt she'll feel safe around you and consciously or subconsciously more attracted.

You mean facial? Martial arts and ice hockey increase DHT most because it resembles irl fighting most.
Calisthenics NO gym is also amazing. DHT causes facial dimorphism if you didnt know. I do good old fashion karate and train.

I agree. Swimming and basketball complement each other perfectly, combining full-body conditioning with agility and endurance.

I was lucky enough to do both swimming and basketball from ages 7 to 16. I haven’t done much since, but the frame it’s left me with, combined with my genetics is nice. Now, I’m planning to go hardcore with swimming again, adding gym/calisthenics, and possibly some injectables to the mix.

Swimming in those public pools is horrible. The water is infested with that disgusting chemical and piss.
If you got a natural place like a lake that would be ideal. Even better a river to swim against. Also dont do gym.

I’ll mix swimming between the river/beach and main pool since the river/beach near me is infested with sharks. Curious, what’s your take on pairing gym with swimming? Why avoid it?

I’m likely nearing the end of my growth phase as im 19. Being 6'3.5, I’m not too worried about any potential impact on height development.
Mirin the height. Do steroids too btw.

What steroids are you considering? I don't recommend steroids for increasing testosterone unless you're actually testosterone deficient, which I highly doubt you are. If your goal is muscle hypertrophy, you can get the optimal physique for aesthetics and satisfying results naturally. It may take years but the fact you built it yourself will give you great satisfaction. You may never achieve bodybuilder gains, but those physiques aren't considered optimal aesthetically if an aesthetic physique is what you're looking for. By raising your testosterone like this with steroids by the way, it'll fuck up your natural testosterone production so you'll probably have to inject for the rest of your life.

Also, are you really aware of the side effects? It depends on your dose, but they're nasty no matter how much people on this forum try to sugarcoat it. Besides the well-known stuff like aggression, lower life expectancy, higher probability of badling, steroids come with the risk of infertility, a significant and noticeable decrease in IQ, and insufferable anxiety. I really doubt you'll find it's worth it.

You don't have to take my word on it, there's empirical evidence for what I mentioned here. Do your own research, and make sure the medical professionals you talk to aren't just trying to get money out of you.

Thanks for your response. Honestly, I haven’t done enough research yet to figure out which steroid, if any, would actually pair well with swimming. But even if I did, is it really worth it just to roid for swimming? Probably not.

I’m not aiming for bodybuilder aesthetics anyway. I’m naturally thinner, but I’ve got a solid frame to work with. My main struggle is just putting on muscle, not chasing some extreme look.

I’ve looked into GHRP a bit, but I don’t know enough yet to say if it would even be effective for swimming. I’d need to dig a lot deeper before making any kind of decision.

If you just want to put on some muscle for swimming, then that's more reason not to do steroids. The problem is steroids don’t really allow you to just ‘stop’ once you’ve hit your desired results due to the way they suppress your natural testosterone and could force you onto testosterone replacement therapy or continued cycles. The hormonal effects and the muscle mass you’d gain would likely be more than what you’re aiming for in terms of just putting on a little muscle for swimming.

As for GHRP, they're not steroids but still mess a bit with your hormones. It's definitely better in your case though, but make sure to research. The mindset of avoiding hasty decisions is good, keep it up.

I’m planning to add gym sessions to my routine to help with muscle gains.

I’ve got a solid frame to work with—broad shoulders, a small waist, and the foundation for a great swimmer’s physique.

I’ll definitely need to do more research, and ideally, I’d like to consult with an endocrinology specialist to create a plan that aligns with my routine and goals.
