Which 1 striking art + 1 grappling art would give you the most bang for your buck in a street fight/self defence situation?

muay thai + wrestling. Jiu jitsu is mostly ineffective irl except for escapes.

Yeah bjj is a bit outdated now, wrestling is taking over but if he doesn't have any wrestling centers nearby, it's not all that bad to take Jiu jitsu.

Bruh muay thai is too slow and inapplicable irl
boxing + wrestling is all you need

Its hard to start training wrestling. U need to be young and compete. Good bjj gym should have classes with takedowns

muay thai is more practical cause aome of the techniques like those involving elbows and knees can be used in close proximity. It's also important to know how to work a clinch.

Bullshit. There are different styles in boximg, and different styles in muay thai. Just call it striking. Just learn striking.

Dont learn bjj or judo or wrestling. Just learn grappiling. Create ur own style.

Very rarely are you going to get into clinch situations irl. How many times have you seen street fights where they grapple? 0
boxing = fast, hard strikes and the dude is out

Ur most likely get into the clinch. And having more tools is better. Thats why mma is a way to go. U csn start with boxing but if u want to be a good fighter u need to learn everything
