Best supplements for focus?

Is huperzine a legit? What else is good? I think ashwagandha makes me too relaxed/tired to help but idk.

Those didn't work for me. Usually green tea, coffee, and sugar free energy drinks make me feel more focused. Having a healthy diet and exercising will help too.

Ashwagandha (at least under his withania somnifera form) will make you lethargic, this is how it reduces anxiety btw (by working GABA receptors, the main inhibitory neurotransmitter).
Imo you should try noopept, or if you prefer herbal supplements Lion's Mane is pretty good for that purpose (among others).

My mouth felt a bit tingly when I took ashwagandha, mine has ginger so I suspect a ginger allergy
Thoughts on valerian root?

Iirc it's more of a sleep aid than a focus-improving supplement, never tried it tho.

Might combine that with green tea plus ashwagandha and melatonin for ultimate sleep stack then
